The Spector Euro 4 Classic Solid Black Gloss is clearly based on the original bass designs from the pens of Stuart Spector and Ned Steinberger, which were able to establish themselves in the 1980s within a short time as a permanent fixture. Besides first-class playing characteristics, the four-string convinces accordingly with versatile and modern bass sounds for almost every music style.

Neck-through construction with high playing comfort

For a crisp tone with long sustain, the Euro 4 Classic comes in an elaborate neck-through construction with a continuous maple neck and weight-reduced body wings made of the same wood. The slim neck profile creates agile playing characteristics, so that on the rosewood fingerboard with the typical crown inlays every groove goes out of the hand as if by magic. The curved body, typical for Spector basses, also allows comfortable playing.

PJ Pickup Setup from EMG

A PJ pickup setup from EMG promises extremely flexible bass sounds in conjunction with the active EMG BTS 2-band tone control. The EMG P split coil, whose bass coil sits closer to the bridge, convinces with a low-mid, yet transparent sound, while the EMG J at the bridge stands for wiry presence with enormous assertiveness in the band structure.

Indestructible hardware

Last but not least, indestructible hardware in elegant gold finish completes Spector's Euro 4 Classic Solid Black Gloss. The massive Spector Locking Bridge on the body not only guarantees an optimal adjustment of intonation and string position, but also supports the balanced and sustain-rich sound of the electric bass through the lockable string saddle. Behind the brass saddle, Gotoh GB-707 tuners ensure precise and stable tuning.
