The Tech 21 SansAmp Character Plus Fuzzy Brit at a glance:
The SansAmp Character Plus Fuzzy Brit follows the concept of the popular Character Plus Series pedals, which shrinks legendary combinations of classic amp circuits and historic stompboxes into a practical pedal format. Here, the two-channel pedals convince with their authentic interaction between both simulated components and an enormous adaptability to the most diverse sound ideas and areas of application. Of course, the Character Plus pedals rely on 100% analogue SansAmp technology to combine first-class sounds with intuitive control options.
Classic Brit Voicing
Within the Tech 21 SansAmp Character Plus Fuzzy Brit is available a widely used model of an important amplifier, which already gave legendary icons of Blues and rock the appropriate voice and can be heard on countless recordings. Here the Char control provides tonal variety, and a tremendous variety of warm overdrive sounds to characterful 'Plexi' sounds to the juicy distortion sound to call. In addition, the Fuzzy Brit offers two identically constructed and foot-switchable channels, making two potential sounds available at any time.
Independent Fuzz Section
As a simulated stompbox, the fuzz section uses a traditional fuzz circuit. This is tuned to the classic fuzz sounds of the sixties and seventies and features a low pass filter to reduce overly harsh highs without sounding muddy or washed out. The circuit is of course controlled by a classic three-knob layout with controls for level, Tone and fuzz, and an enormous variety of different fuzz sounds are available.
