Yamaha SB-5X Silent Brass II for TromboneBei dem Yamaha Silent Brass merkt man sofort die langjährige Erfahrung von Yamaha im Ton- und Musikbereich. Der Dämpfer wird fest in den Schalltrichter reingedrückt (leicht reindrehen, sonst fällt er raus) und dämpft deutlich den Sound der Posaune nach außen. Dabei klingt er so natürlich, dass ich dazu übergegangen bin, Aufnahmen mit dem Dämpfer zu machen, um im Nachhinein die Stellen eines Stückes zu analysieren, die ich noch einmal verbessern kann. Der Dämpfer bietet auch eine Halleinstellung, auf die man aber verzichten kann. Nett ist auch das Zusatzfeature, um eine Line-In Quelle, bspw. für Play Along Übungen einzuspielen. Es empfiehlt sich aber auf jeden Fall hochwertige Kopfhöhrer (80 Ohm Impedanz) anzuschließen, um von dem tollen Sound zu profitieren.
