Alto TS318S

The Alto TS318S is an active 18" subwoofer with a 3" voice coil and a sound pressure level of up to 131 dB. A powerful 1000 watt Class D power amplifier (2000 watt peak) delivers enough power for medium sized events. The Alto TS318S provides an additional bass foundation to the speakers' already substantial frequency ranges. The listening audience will hear everything with perfect clarity, from the lowest bass synth notes to the highest percussion bells and everything in between.

The Alto TS318S features a rugged, durable 18" woofer mounted in a sturdy ported enclosure. The enclosure itself is made of a dense wood-based material. This strong, resonance-free material has near-perfect acoustic properties that ensure the subwoofer's performance is always clear and effective.

All TS300 Series subwoofers feature six selectable DSP output modes, so the subwoofer's frequency response and crossover frequency are perfectly matched to the speaker it is being used with. Four of these six output options perfectly match the subwoofer with Alto TS2 and TS3 full-range speakers, while the other two output options (Hi-Pass or Bypass mode) ensure a perfect match with non-Alto full-range speakers as well.

The voice coils of the Alto TS318S feature extremely dense windings that ensure maximum utilization of the input signal, and our adhesives exhibit unmatched resistance and durability under high-temperature conditions, providing unmatched system reliability. The TS318S features an integrated 2000-watt amplifier (1000 watts continuous) with proprietary limiting circuitry that provides electronic clip, thermal and transducer overload protection, ensuring the system always sounds clean and clear no matter how hard it is pushed.
