As a pickup, a Duesenberg "Toaster" humbucker is used in the middle position of the Duesenberg D-Bass, which delivers a striking sound with a distinct vintage character. With a firm bass foundation, pushing mids and a silky treble range, the bass delivers an assertive tone, with the perfect foundation for classic styles of blues and rock. In addition, the Duesenberg D Bass is equipped with a passive mid-shape control, which allows a precise adjustment of the sound in combination with the classic tone poti.
