The Fame Audio Orbital 207S is an active nearfield monitor for use in all production steps in the modern recording studio. As a model with 6.5" woofer, it is suitable for recording, editing and mixing as well as audio production in all monitoring environments. As a studio speaker, it is especially designed for the undistorted reproduction of the entire frequency spectrum.
Even without a subwoofer, the Orbital 207S achieves remarkably deep bass response and sufficient sound levels for relaxed working and music listening, while always guaranteeing a pleasant, unstressed listening experience.
Due to its extremely low manufacturing tolerances and high signal fidelity, it is fully qualified for professional use and is also ideally suited for multi-channel setups in Dolby Surround and Atmos formats.
As with all models in the Orbital series, great importance was attached to high-quality components: The woofer drivers made of polypropylene provide a fast, crisp response in the bass and fundamental range. Through the careful selection of the driver, a pronounced midrange reproduction could be achieved, whereby especially the critical range between 200 and 400Hz is presented cleanly and differentiated.
A distortion-free, transparent and clear reproduction of the presence and treble range was ensured from the outset by the selection of a high-quality dome tweeter. This makes the speakers of the
The modern drivers with high efficiency do not require a high power amplifier: Even the single speaker Orbital 205S achieves 102dB SPL peak in the near field at 1m - more than enough head room for every workplace.
The active crossover and the biamping power amplifier were also developed with special care, so that the range around the crossover frequency at 2.7 kHz remains completely transparent and highly resolved. Especially the overtone spectrum of e.g. electric guitars or woodwinds is transmitted naturally and unaltered.
For a focus on the bass range and higher monitoring levels respectively larger listening rooms, the larger models of the Orbital series, 207S and 208S, with their 6.5" and 8" woofers are available.

The Acoustic Space filter helps clear out masking effects in the midrange, such as those caused by eg. Table reflections. Keep your midrange clean and hear what's actually happening. Prevent fatigue and mixing errors.
Treble EQ allows you to raise or lower the treble band from 10kHz. Adjust the treble response of your monitoring system to suit your personal taste or spatial conditions, depending on how much acoustic attenuation you've applied.
Unobtrusive, timelessly chic, but still unique, the
The speaker connections are in balanced jack, XLR and unbalanced RCA format. Connect the speakers to any audio source, connect eg. your audio interface via the TRS jack connectors, your DJ controller or any line-level signal via the RCA jacks, or the DI-out of your digital multi-effect or workstation via the XLR connectors.
