Alongside the magnetic pickups, the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary features a GraphTech Ghost piezo pickup system, completed with an active preamp. The system is activated by pulling the front volume knob and delivers authentic acoustic guitar tones with bright highs and the signature attack. Excerpt: Otherwise, perfection down to the last detail. The unvarnished satin surfaces convey an extremely pleasant feel, the ergonomics a high level of playing comfort. Schaller hardware, Seymour Duncan pickups and GraphTech ghost piezo bridge with corresponding Preamp - that's how you score points. Last but not least, both guitars are absolutely convincing in terms of sound and, thanks to their very good vibration characteristics, excellent dynamics and stable Sustain, they serve a wide range of different musical genres.

I've REALLY gelled with this guitar. First thing first the wood on this guitar and the craftsmanship are TOP notch. I was not impressed with the electronics the Duncan pickups, while a classic combo, didn't suit my needs. I put shur thornbuckers in right away. While the piezo pickups are graphtech the preamp is not, I changed that out as well. I also added a tone control and removed the piezo switch for a piezo volume (can be done with a mini pot). As you can see I'm super particular about my electronics so I don't fault fame, especially at this price. I will be buy another one! But, can we get a few more color options for the semi hollow!???
