Electro acoustic guitar, 000 construction, solid spruce top, okoume body, 634 mm scale length, Ibanez AEQ-SP2 pickup system
With the Ibanez AVC11CE from the Artwood series, the Japanese manufacturer is expanding its range with another guitar in a stylish vintage look. This practical acoustic guitar in Concert design is equipped with a solid spruce top, which sounds like a guitar that has been played for years thanks to thermal treatment. The X-bracing is also "Thermo Aged", thus emphasizing the effect very clearly and giving the guitar saturated and rich treble frequencies. Back and sides are made of Okoume and complement the sound with a particularly warm note. Following the tradition, the solidNyatoh neck is equipped with a smooth "V" profile and, in combination with an Ovangkol fingerboard, a 634 mm scale length and a spacious cutaway, offers best playability and access to all 20 frets. The built-in Ibanez AEQ-SP2 pickup system is especially practical. Thanks to an XLR output, it delivers a balanced signal directly to the amplifier, allowing the guitar's natural sound to be carried over longer cable runs. The instrument is absolutely beautiful, looking like a treasure from the old days.
The Ibanez AVC11CE looks like a treasure from days gone by.
