Four-string electric bass with PowerSpan pickups and active tone control
The Ibanez SR370E AWB Aged Whisky Burst is a four-string bass guitar built to excite through its smooth, fast neck and lightweight body, equipped with perfectly matched electronics. The SR neck is well known for offering a slim, easy-to-play profile with a construction from five-piece Maple/Rosewood providing supreme strength and stability whilst enhancing sustain. The Accu-cast B120 Bridge features extra-wide string slots to accommodate the heaviest gauges.
Equipped with PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups, the SR370E produces a stronger signal, and increases the response of the higher frequencies without sacrificing low end. This results in a tone rich in harmonic detail and dynamic expression. Additionally, this bass comes with a Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with a 3-way Power Tap switch for maximum control over a wide variety of professional bass tones. The Tap Mode (single-coil) creates a punchy, dynamic sound with superior articulation, whilst the Series Mode (humbucking) delivers a full, warm tone. The Power Tap Mode offers the best of both by combining the clarity of the single coil with the fat bottom end of the humbucker.
Bass looks awesome and is really versatile and cool sounding, i dont even own a bass amp but sounds real good through a guitar amp as well. Would recommend, nuff said! :)

(This review is from the same product in color Sapphire Blue)
Great bass guitar for the price. Great sound from it. Neck is a lot lighter in colour than the photos show, somewhere between rosewood and maple so takes away from the overall look. Out of the box though mid and treble knobs were loose, allen key provided to sort this out but considering there was a quality control tag i would have thought this would have been checked. Usual high set up from factory so still settling in with it. Overall good quality and price.
