The Jack & Danny JB Vintage 1975 5-String WH White offers beginners and advanced players alike a lot of electric bass with authentic vintage charm and extended range at an extremely tempting price. The five-string electric bass not only has a solid alder body, but also a neck made of Canadian maple, which with its slim dimensions fits comfortably in the hand of even newcomers and allows the first grooves to flow easily. Two classic Jack & Danny single-coil pickups are also a convincing choice, delivering versatile sounds for almost any style of music. Last but not least, the indestructible hardware equipment guarantees long-lasting playing pleasure on the Jack & Danny JB Vintage 1975 5-String.
The Jack & Danny JB Vintage 1975 String Black has a body made of solid Alder, which in combination with the bolt-on neck made of Canadian Maple promises a crisp response and an even sustain with high endurance. With the traditionally slim "C" profile, the neck is also extremely comfortable in the hand, so that beginners can easily master the first grooves and bass lines. Large block inlays in the maple fretboard allow easy orientation between the 20 frets.
Two classic single-coil pickups provide an authentic sound on the Jack & Danny JB Vintage 1975 5-String, which also integrates the low B-string cleanly and serves every musical genre with high transparency and dynamics. The classic passive circuitry, which provides separate volume controls for each pickup and a general treble control, allows the sound to be precisely defined, so the J&D JB Vintage 1975 5-String delivers the perfect bass foundation for any reggae, funk, rock, blues or fusion band.
The classic vintage-style hardware of the Jack & Danny JB Vintage 1975 5-String also impresses with its indestructible functionality that guarantees long-lasting playing pleasure. The classic bass bridge with five "barrel" string saddles allows a perfectly adjusted intonation and a very soft playing action. In addition, the smooth running vintage-style tuners on the headstock impress with their unshakeable tuning stability.

Im very satisfied and will buy again.
Arrived very quickly from Germany to Australia. Great bass for the money, couldn't find anything close for the value. Great blocked and bound neck, has an extremely comfortable profile. Colour is better in person than the images, really captures the Surf Green tone. Plays great out of the box, no major setup required. Highly recommended bass for intermediate players looking for something that looks great and plays well also.

Totally awesome bass for the money!
Great looking funky green color (honestly it's even better in real life), and a really nice chunky neck front to back, reminiscent of the real 70's Jazz necks.
Finish was almost perfect both on the clear (non-tinted) lacquered neck, and the body (though the pickup cavities were cut a little rough & big in size).
Fret ends need some work to be really smooth too.
And although the stock ceramic pickups sound perfectly fine for the price, I upgraded mine with a set of Duncans SJB-1's and now the bass sounds & plays like a real vintage American Jazz.
The only really cheap feeling parts that need to be changed from the get go are imho the tuners and the bridge. I installed some authentic Wilkinsons on mine.
All in all the bass is a real beauty to watch, and feels really nice to play! It features a real alder body, and a solid, stable & great feeling chunky neck.
I used mine as base for an upgrade project, but one can use/gig it as is (with only minor upgrades i.e. tuners & bridge).
Highly recommended!!
I bought this J&D jazz 1970s copy after buying it's sister bass, the 1963 fiesta red copy of a P bass.
I used this bass on a gig as soon as I received it and the rest of the band were blown away with the sounds and looks of it. Admittedly I replaced the strings with a new set of Half Wounds which improved the sounds and fitted a pair of ashtrays just for looks. I love playing this bass. It is so light compared to the real thing.
The High gloss , maple fretboard feels so smooth, far better than the Squire bass and the black, block fretboard inlays make it stand out from the rest of the band.
As far as the company, Musicstore, I am so impressed with their service. So friendly. Where could you find service like that in Britain? I ordered it on the Tuesday and it was delivered to my door on Friday morning, and so well packed. This is the third guitar I have bought from Musicstore and it certainly will not be the last.
I can not recommend this instrument enough. If you are looking for a bass to practice with or to play in a band. Go for it.
