The L.R. Baggs Stradium Electric Bass DI is a compact preamplifier for electric bass in effect pedal format that makes bassists' hearts beat faster as a versatile tool for shaping sound. The preamp with compressor and overdrive offers the most important sounds in completely analog technology.
The compact L.R. Baggs Stadium Electric DI preamplifier has a fully analog circuit for highest sound quality.
Analog circuit in studio quality and multi-band compressor
Based on a discrete analog circuit, the L.R. Baggs Stadium Electric Bass DI delivers high-class sounds in absolute studio quality. The Comp EQ control provides full control of the integrated multi-band compressor, the intensity of which is controlled by the touch dynamics. With separate compression of bass, midrange and treble, the compressor delivers a balanced sound image with an unadulterated character.
With the clearly structured control panel of the L.R. Baggs Stadium Electric Bass DI, the right sound is quickly found.
Focused or broadband overdrive, variable attack
The L.R. Baggs Stadium Electric Bass DI's Growl circuitsaturates the low frequencies with a focused overdrive for a warm, harmonious sound. By activating the Drive switch, the distortions are extended to the entire frequency spectrum, so that classically breaking distortion sounds are generated for the harder gait. In addition, the attack control offers the possibility to influence the attack behavior between velvety jazzy approachers or fat punch.
Connections and power supply
The L.R. Baggs Stadium Electric DI has two outputs. While the 6.35 mm jack provides an unbalanced signal with line level for connection to regular bass amplifiers, the balanced XLR output on the top is suitable for direct connection to the PA. The bass preamplifier can be powered by 9 volt battery, optionally available power supply or 48 volt phantom power.
