With the new electro-acoustic Martin GPC-16E guitar, the American manufacturer now presents its revised 16-series in a modern grand performance design and new specifications. In order to produce a bright and balanced sound, the fully solid guitar is equipped with a Sitka spruce top, which brings out the treble frequencies clearly and powerfully. A mahogany body completes the sound with warm basses in perfect harmony with the sound characteristics of the Scalloped-X-Bracing top.
For comfortable playing, the guitar is equipped with a flat Select Hardwood neck with Modified Low Oval profile, which in combination with a scale length of 645 mm and a saddle width of 44.45 mm provides perfect access to all 20 frets set into a fine ebony fretboard. This is facilitated by a generous cutaway and a neck/body transition at the 14th fret.
A Fishman Matrix VT Enhance NT2 pickup system completes the Martin GPC-16E acoustic guitar and promises a very natural sound even for amplified use. The volume, tone and enhancement can be individually adjusted via a volume, tone and enhancement control. The guitar comes in a sturdy Martin soft-shell gig bag.
