Old Blood Noise Endeavors Beam Splitter effects pedal at a glance:
The Old Blood Noise Endeavours Beam Splitter takes an innovative approach to creating a true 'wall or sound' from any guitar setup. To achieve this, the overdrive effect pedal splits the incoming electric guitar signal into three different sections, each with its own drive character and drive sound control options in the form of gain, Volume and tone settings. In addition, the channels Green and Blue offer separate controls for time and decay to control the time delay. The Deviate control is available for particularly organic sound results: This provides random delay times for the additional channels, giving the sound more variation and a more natural feel. The Beam Splitter also provides flexible routing options with its separate outputs. When using the Main Out alone, all three sections are output in parallel in mono. As soon as the two other outputs are connected, however, all three sections are output separately, allowing you to create expansive 'Larger-than-Life' setups with up to three amplifiers.
I loved this drive from the very first minutes playing with it. Very crisp sounds that cut through the mix. Good string separation. A fresh feeling and character. All 3 modes are wonderful. There are dozens of useful tones in this box. And it feels great to play.
Craftmanship and esthetics are top notch. It's my first OBNE pedal and I'm thrilled. It seems bound to become my go to drive.
