The PRS SE Mark Holcomb SVN Holcomb Burst presents the Periphery achiever with a custom-made 7-string electric guitar that offers agile playing characteristics and versatile tones, making it the perfect instrument for modern progressive metal. Designed around an extended 26.5" scale length (673 mm), the electric guitar features a mahogany body with a maple top bearing a quilted maple veneer, and a glued maple neck with ebony fingerboard and comfortable "wide thin" profile. Featuring the Seymour Duncan Alpha & Omega pickup set, the Mark Holcomb SVN also delivers contemporary metal tones with tight and accurate reproduction of every note played. The PRS SE Mark Holcomb SVN Holcomb Burst is completed by a PRS plate-style bridge and precise die-cast tuners.

PRS SE Mark Holcomb SVN Holcomb BurstSuperb looks and sound quality. Everything you’d expect from a PRS at this price point. Only change made us I’ve put heavier gauge strings on for my personal preference.
After I took the Guitar out of the gib bag, I was instantly impressed by the beauty of it. Great finish, not to heavy and feels super smooth.
After plugging it in, there was an immediate connection between the fretboard and me. The flat radius, makes it super enjoyable to play. The seymour duncans together with the coil splits yield a wide range of sound.
The guitar has great tuning stability. I hardly had to retune, after I restringed the guitar.
All in all, I can recommend this guitar to anyone who want a 7 String PRS.
