RME Fireface UFX

The Fireface UFX is much more than "just" an updated successor of the proven Fireface series. The reference class A/D conversion (192kHz) of the QC series is just the beginning: thanks to integrated DSP functionality and a significantly increased number of inputs and outputs - a total of 60 - the Fireface UFX is perfectly suited as a mobile studio mixer on just one 19" HE !

The Advanced Parallel Conversion of the four microphone inputs is particularly noteworthy: by using two parallel AD converters simultaneously, the background noise could be reduced by a further 3 dB, which also increases the dynamic range of the converters.

The high-resolution multifunctional color display, the monitor control section and the intelligently implemented user guidance make it possible to use and control the complete functional range of the Fireface UFX stand-alone and without connected DAW.

Of course, the computer connection to Windows/OSX-based computers is also possible using the extremely stable 32/64 bit driver. Alternatively USB 2.0 or Firewire 400 can be used - both upward compatible to USB 3.0 and Firewire 800 standards.

Of course, you can also use the TotalMix FX software to completely control the routing and DSP processes as you are used to host-based.

The predecessors already set the bar with regard to converter quality, stability, lowest latency and flexibility.

Twelve high quality analog I/Os, 32 channels via Adat Optical, an AES/EBU and MIDI I/O and last but not least the 4 Mic/Instrument preamps of the Micstasy class with Advanced Parallel Conversion define a new standard in this device class.
