With the ProLite Snare Drums Sonor introduces the legitimate successor series of the popular S-Classix and Delite drums. Boilers made of 100% vintage maple, absolutely precise kettle hardware and breathtaking finishes make these drums professional tools for professional drummers.
All hardware parts are underlaid with rubber underlays and thus avoid metal-wood contact. For the finishes you have the choice between beautiful semi-gloss, high gloss or exotic veneer high gloss lacquer surfaces.
ProLite by Sonor stands for state-of-the-art drums with excellent quality for professional demands. Sonor only uses selected maple wood from ecologically sustainable sources for the production of Prolite boilers.
The 9 layers are glued together for optimum durability and the best possible sound experience in the typical Sonor CLTF process and then provided with 45° burrs. The thickness of the Prolite maple kettle is kept to a minimum (4mm) thanks to its vintage construction, resulting in an incredibly wide sound spectrum.
For additional stabilization, the boiler edges are provided with a 2 mm reinforcement ring. This focuses the sound immensely and gives every punch on the snare a warm, crisp attack that is unparalleled.
All hardware parts of the Sonor Prolite series serve primarily for sound support, are provided with rubber pads and avoid metal-wood contact. Sonor's patented Tune Safe process creates a relentless atmosphere. Every single component is worked with great attention to detail.
