The Squier Classic Vibe '70s Jaguar (3-Colour Sunburst) is a 6-string electric guitar taken from the Fender/Squier 2019 Classic Vibe range. The '70s Jaguar boasts many features from classic instruments of that era; the 1970s headstock markings, 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, nickel-plated hardware, a vintage-tinted gloss neck application and a pair of Fender designed Alnico single-coil pick-ups. The slim “C” shape neck (9.5” radius) makes fretting notes and chords effortless, and the Indian Laurel fingerboard is spaced by narrow-tall frets. A 6-saddle vintage-style Bridge with non-locking floating vibrato facilitates perfect string bending techniques. The remarkable range and off-set look is represented superbly by the Classic Vibe '70s range, with tones from clean to distortion easily achieved whatever style of music is being made.

I bought this Squier CV Jaguar as a returned item. Now, it's not perfect but for what you get at less than 300 GBP, I can't complain. It wasn't exactly all shiny etc. and I wasn't expecting to be as a returned item. The DV247 guy on the phone cautioned me to that effect. Anyway, what a brilliant guitar for the money (it will only need need a couple of upgrades which still makes it significantly cheaper than an equivalent MIM, Vintera or Fender). I particularly went for the Squier CV instead of higher end Jaguar mainly because it has the Mustang bridge and access to the truss from the headstock. I'm very glad I took a punt on this. Very satisfied.
