The Temple Audio Design DUO 17 Guitar Effects Pedal Gunmetal is a durable and stylish pedal board featuring innovative quick release pedal mounting technology; perfect for building your ideal pedal board with minimal hassle.
The Temple DUO 17 is deep enough to mount a (commonly sized) volume pedal. This board stays lightweight even when crammed full of pedals and is within the size restrictions of domestic and international airline carry-on sizes (in gig bag or Pelican ATA case). It provides plenty of room for most acoustic and bass players' demands. With the convenience of the quick release Pedal Mounting System, the Duo 17 is also a great choice for those wanting to swap out and bring only the pedals they know they'll need to a performance.
The main features of the Temple Audio Design DUO 17 Guitar Effects Pedal Gunmetal include:
Guitar Effects Pedal Board
Quick Release Pedal Mounting System
Micro & Mini Module Slots Allow for Multiple Power & Connection Options
The board is well constructed: strong metal, decent handles, the paintwork is neatly finished, no sharp edges on holes or the casing.
Great flexibility for pedal positioning and pedal cable routing. Exactly meets my needs on both aspects. I'm using cable ties to attach my pedals and the multitude of holes means I can place them absolutely anywhere.
I think the pedal screw fixtures are too expensive so I'll avoid those. I'm also thinking I'd have the same problem as I've had with velcro: the sticky stuff to attach them to the pedal is never sticky enough. (I don't know how many times in the past I've open up my pedal case to find pedals all over the place because the velcro peeled off the back of the pedals.)
One criticism is that there is no way to easily route mains cables. In my case I have power packs under the board with mains plugs permanently attached and these are too big to be fed through the removable side plates. I need to add some height to the rear feet to provide a gap for the cables.
Really pleased with the delivery time - other suppliers told me I'd have to wait nearly 2 months.

I’ve been after a decent board for ages and the sturdiness and organisational options available with the Temple Audio products made this the best choice. Be aware it doesn’t come with any of the pedal mounts though.

As I said it’s a black and white really cool Pedalboard and these setups are Awsome!! Fits up to 8 medaium sized pedals or more small ones or less with large. Please check out their Temple Audio Design Pedal Plates as you can apply the adisive glue to them or put Velcro on each of them! Either way it’ll fully protect the Pedalboard plus, all your effects pedals of various stomp boxes will stick on!! Also there are pleanty of holes to thread the cables through and they have optional socket inputs and switches. They also do a lighting system which I’ve not tried yet but might in future. Which is controlled by a remote to make the Pedalboard light up. Again big thanks to dv247 and to DPD for delivering and making all this possible!!
