The VOX AC30VR is a modern take on VOX's famous AC30 amp.
Using the proven and popular VOX Valve Reactor (VR) circuitry, the VOX AC30VR provides a diverse soundscape of authentic and satisfying tones from a single amp.
The AC30VR has a split panel design and offers two channels - Normal and Overdrive - with the Overdrive channel adding a separate Gain knob. In addition, the overdrive channel features a Style button, which switches between vintage VOX AC30 overdrive and a modern higher gain amp tone.
Equipped with two custom-designed 12" Celestion speakers, the AC30VR delivers a roaring 30 watts of power. The Normal channel offers both Bass and Treble tone controls, along with a single Volume knob. The Overdrive channel has a Gain control, as well as a 3-band EQ for more defined tone shaping. In the Master section, the AC30VR features a unique Tone Cut circuit knob for dampening the high-end frequencies, as well as Master Volume and Master Reverb controls.
The AC30VR's back panel features an external speaker jack for use with an 8 ohm extension cabinet. Also provided is a jack for the optional VOX VFS2 dual footswitch, which offers hands-free channel and reverb switching.

VOX AC30VR Valve Reactor Guitar Am p Combo Love this amp! I find its very good for Blues/Rock. Theres great deep powerful sound from this amp and it takes any pedals very well! I use a Gibson SG and find the tone comes through very well! Amazing amp!
Eventhough this might not be a tube amp, it does extremely well. Im suprised by the sound quality you get from it. The sound has alot of character. Its also pretty sturdy, not as fragile as tube amps. Also you dont have to replace the tubes every now and then. The overdrive it has is very good, very crunchy and brit-like also the reverb does a good job. If you want other effects like a delay or chorus, just add some effect pedals. A minus might be that it has just 1 input, and no fx loop.
