i was warey of buying a seperate pre amp for my Warm Audio U47jr mic as i thought the one included in my audio interface was good enough. I have an UAD Apollo X and the Focusrite Clarret, I was wrong. Never will i rely on a built in Audio Interfaces pre amp to drive my mics, even if its a humble Sure dynamic to the recent Warm Audio bought from Music Store.
