The Yamaha STAGEPAS 1K is a complete portable PA system that quickly and effortlessly transforms any venue into a stage. With pro-level audio quality, professional mixing capabilities and very easy setup, the system is great for duos or small music groups and mobile DJs. The Yamaha STAGEPAS 1K consists of a 1,000 watt amplifier, 10 x 1.5" line array speakers, a 12" subwoofer and a 5-channel mixing console.
Despite the low weight of 23Kg and the compact housing construction made of high-quality polyurea, the Yamaha STAGEPAS 1K delivers high Output via a 1,000 watt power amplifier in Class D technology. This drives a tweeter array consisting of 10 x 1.5" tweeters and a true 12" subwoofer for bass . This allows the system to achieve a sound pressure level of up to 119 dB.
Using a J-curve arrangement, this tweeter unit achieves a unique very wide coverage angle with a vertical coverage of 30° over a horizontal range of 170°, delivering consistently clear, high-quality sound even at longer distances. The high-quality sound impression remains consistent across the entire audience area.
The 12-inch subwoofer utilizes Twisted Flare Port™ technology, reducing wind noise that can occur at the bass reflex port of compact subwoofers. It also allows the subwoofer to achieve high output levels with very deep, powerful and distortion-free bass.
Yamaha has been developing innovative digital mixing consoles for professional sound engineers around the world for decades. The STAGEPAS 1K digital mixer takes advantage of this wealth of experience. For example, the intuitive user interface allows very complex operations to be set up with a single button, reducing setup time and simplifying operation. Users can therefore concentrate on their performance.
The Yamaha STAGEPAS 1K is equipped with extensive sound-shaping features. These include 1-knob EQ for optimal multi-band EQ settings, industry-standard SPX reverb, and "Mode" control for compression settings on the master channel that perfectly match specific application scenarios such as speech or music. Each of these functions can be set up using a single control. Complex tasks such as EQ and compression are greatly simplified, and great sound is quickly achieved.
1. SPX the Standard Digital Reverb
One knob gives you access to four different high-quality reverb settings - ideal for vocals and acoustic instruments. Simply turn the knob to change the type and duration of reverb. You can then add just the right amount of high-resolution effect to each channel.
2. 1-knob EQ
Filter out unnecessary bass frequencies in speech with a left turn, or emphasize bass and treble to support a band sound with a right turn - this innovative
3. "MODE" for the master output
The multi-band compressor uses optimized compressor settings to suit a variety of applications. By selecting a setting that suits your application, you can achieve a professional sound without having to learn complicated compression and audio engineering principles.
Last but not least, the 5-channel digital mixer offers exceptional connectivity. On the input side, STAGEPAS 1K features three channels of mono mic/line inputs, two of which have high-impedance connectors for electric instruments such as guitars or basses, as well as a stereo line input.
In addition to jack and mini-jack connections, the stereo channels can also be controlled via

Features of the app
Two STAGEPAS 1K units can be linked together to increase coverage and output power for larger performances. Both stereo and mono playback are possible. Furthermore, even when the STAGEPAS 1K are linked, all inputs of both systems can still be used (up to 6 mono inputs and 2 stereo inputs).
Finally, the Yamaha STAGEPAS 1K is easy to set up. Just plug the spacers and speaker unit into the subwoofer and the setup is basically done. There are no cables, no speaker stands, and no other extra equipment.
Included with the Yamaha STAGEPAS 1K is a protective case that protects the system and furthermore provides pockets for the spacers and speaker arrays as well as additional equipment such as microphones or cables. This makes set-up and tear-down easier and faster.
