Zoom F1-LP Field Recorder

With the F1 LP package Zoom offers a modular mini DSLR field recorder including lavalier microphone. The extremely flexible recorder convinces not only with its robust aluminum housing and thus also its low weight, but of course also with the sound at a maximum recording quality of 96 kH and 24 bit (WAV or alternatively MP3) - sufficient therefore for any professional applications. For safety's sake, the signal can be routed directly to a video camera via a mini-jack cable, creating two separate files and providing a "backup" if the worst comes to the worst.

While the F1 LP package, with the included LMF-1 lavalier microphone, is intended more for voice actors who carry this system with them, the modular design of the recorder allows various microphones (e.g., as with the F1-SP) from Zoom to be plugged in and mounted on a DSLR camera (optional spider mount required). Recording quality level, level control, bass filter or limiter can be operated directly via button and also controlled on the monochromatic display. The overall package is rounded off by a new calibration function using a test tone generator, which can be used to adjust the levels of the recorder output and the camera input. Power is easily supplied via USB or two AAA batteries.
