The Engl E633SR Fireball 25 Red Limited Edition amplifier for electric guitars packs the concentrated high-gain power of the popular Fireball tube top into a more manageable format that is equally suitable for use in the recording studio, rehearsal room and living room thanks to the integrated power reduction. The clean channel of the Engl delivers crystal clear sounds or creamy crunch depending on the position of the gain control, whereas the lead channel provides a powerful sound that can be increased from moderate rock distortion to brute high-gain metal thump. Besides the common 3-band EQ for both channels, the head is equipped with a mid-boost for adjusting the tone. Furthermore, a noise gate with adjustable threshold is provided for the lead channel. The Fireball 25 all-tube amplifier is also equipped with a serial FX loop for integrating additional effects devices. The power of the amplifier, which is equipped with two 6L6 tubes, can not only be reduced step by step from 25 watts to 5 watts or 1 watt, a speaker-off mode is also implemented in the Engl E633SR Fireball 25 Red Limited Edition.
