Hollow-Body electric guitar with Swingbucker pickups and Bigsby vibrato
With the Epiphone Emperor Swingster Wine Red, Epiphone is launching a classic hollow-body electric guitar whose sonic profession lies between crisp Nashville pickings, wild rockabilly and traditional rock'n'roll. Here, the spruce top and laminated maple body shape the sound with an airy acoustic tone, while the glued "Slim Taper" maple neck guarantees comfortable playing over the entire rosewood fretboard. The Epiphone Swingbucker pickups promise particularly dynamic guitar sounds that skilfully capture the timbre of the hollow-body construction and skilfully implement every nuance when playing through an amp. Further sonic flexibility is provided by push/pull switches in the volume knobs, which allow each pickup to be switched from serial to parallel operation. Classic hardware in the form of a Tune-O-Matic bridge with rosewood base, a Bigsby B30 vibrato and precise Grover tuners complete the Epiphone Emperor Swingster Wine Red.
The Epiphone Emperor Swingster Wine Red convinces with dynamic sounds and excellent playability.

excellent guitar for the price, I use one for rockabilly and blues numbers and early Beatles and middle of the road numbers never lets me down. The temlo arm is a useful feature as well with split coils on the pickups so you can get that thin sound as well as a fat warm sound.
The Swingster looks soooo good - And it sounds just as good. If you were considering this guitar along side others of similar specifications, look no further. I spent a lot of time researching the Swingster against similar Gretsch models, and came to the conclusion that the Swingster had more 'pros' versus 'cons' than equivalent Gretsch models - And the current price of the Swingster (May 2020), makes the choice a no brainer. Do yourself a favour and get this limited edition model whilst it's at a good price. By the way, Sunrise Orange looks great with the flamed maple....
