The basic construction of the Fame Forum IV Classic Deluxe top is based on a strong body of Khaya mahogany. The African wood offers classic sound characteristics of the mahogany body with a warm central sound and presents a noble shimmering grain. This is Sapelli glued to a neck with a flat 'D' profile and a satin finish for a smooth thumb rest and the right amount of wood behind the fingerboard for every playing technique.

Especially for the Fame Forum IV Classic Deluxe Top series, high-quality Western Maple ceilings are used. The exquisite wood shows a broad spectrum of impressive grains with three-dimensional depth and offers amazing optical details between classic maple flame and plastic cloud drawing. Every single Deluxe Top wooden ceiling was selected by us by hand in order to be able to present as large a variety of different maple ceilings as possible.
