The Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster MN Pewter is a 6-string Electric Guitar which is considered to be the first signature Guitar ever in the Fender program and has been manufactured unchanged since the late 1980s with Eric’s bespoke specifications.
Featuring a classic Alder body and one-piece Maple neck with "Soft V" profile, this model forms the basis to achieve Clapton's versatile blues sounds. Equipped with Fender Vintage Noiseless Single Coil pick-ups, combined with an active Mid-Boost and TBX Tone Control allow an expansiveness of tonal options. In addition, the Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster MN Pewter is equipped with the proven Fender American Vintage tremolo and Fender American Vintage tuners. The bolt-on neck is one-piece Maple, ensuring stability and longevity, and the "Soft V" profile offers optimum conditions for comfortable playability.
The Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster MN Pewter uses 3x Fender Vintage Noiseless Single Coils - the use of classic Alnico magnets provide authentic single coil sounds with crystalline clarity and lively response, without unwanted background noise or humming. The pick-ups are managed by a 5-way blade switch and master volume & tone controls.
In addition, the Eric Clapton Strat is equipped with a particularly wide-ranging electronic system, with the help of which versatile blues sounds can be created:
Fender present the Eric Clapton Stratocaster with a classic Fender American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo, which, like Clapton's original, is fixed with a wooden block and thus enables a more direct tonal resonance to the body and neck. Fender American Vintage tuners on the headstock also guarantee stable and precise tuning.
The guitar has great tone if you turn down the mid boost it sounds like standard strat, the neck is perfect it has the V-shape,it has the same feeling like the martin acoustic necks and that makes it awesome! The nitro finish makes this guitar even more valuable ! You can get clapton tones with this guitar!!!
This is my very first guitar, I have never played a guitar in my life.
I picked Fender as it has a long and significant history. I selected the Stratocaster as I just love the shape of it and I went with the Eric Clapton Artist Signature version as I have always appreciated his music.
It has been just over 3 weeks now and I have been following the Fender Play program and enjoying every movement so far.
There is a long road of learning ahead but I already know that this will not be my last guitar, but it will stay with me forever.
