The Trapper Dual Fuzz from Fender is the ideal basis for flexible fuzz sounds with extensive sound shaping possibilities. To this end, The Trapper has been equipped with two discrete fuzz voices to reproduce the sonic palette of the fuzz effect, from softly singing fuzz to synth-like experiments. Operation remains simple with global controls for tone and contour to select the center frequency and high rolloff, while both fuzz circuits can be adjusted with separate level controls. The first circuit offers smooth sounds, while the second circuit with interactive noise gate provides brute fuzz sounds and experimental glitch sounds. In addition, The Trapper Dual Fuzz features an octave switch that, when activated, adds a higher octave to the signal for broad synthesizer sounds.
