The new Flight Diana Soundwave Tenor Ukulele expands the Slovenian manufacturer's range by adding an electro-acoustic instrument with integrated effects that give the otherwise typical Hawaiian sound a particularly individual touch. Thanks to a construction consisting of a solid cedar top and a walnut body, the ukulele acoustically produces a very loud and warm sound that unfolds powerfully in the mid frequencies. A flat okoume neck with a purplewood fingerboard allows easy fingering in all 18 frets, which intonate cleanly due to a 35 mm wide bone nut. The highlight is the extensive Soundwave pickup system, which not only reproduces the acoustic sound in a very natural way, even when amplified, but is also equipped with a reverb, chorus and delay effect. The Flight Diana Soundwave Tenor Ukulele comes with a sturdy case.
Roughly 2 months ago I picked up a guitar at the age of 53 and decided it would be a good idea to try and learn how to play.
I have been having so much fun I then got my eye on a ukulele, and after doing much research opted to go for a Flight Diana Tenor Soundwave.
I purchased the ukulele from dv247.com as the offered the best price.
The ukulele arrived within a week and wow upon opening the double cardboard boxes and taking the uke out of its protective Flight case I was very impressed.
I am a total amateur when it comes to any musical instrument, however this small ukulele is just a joy to play with. The Diana sounwave ukulele sounds bright and warm and playing around with the onboard soundwave amplifier, which has reverb, choir and delay, plus a volume control offers hours of fun.
The Flight Diana also looks amazing in the flesh and is well finished off I love the open headstock design and gold tuners.
Very pleased with my purchase and now happily strumming away.
