IK Multimedia UNO Synth is a monophonic analog synthesizer in desktop format. The synthesizer features two oscillators with pulse width modulation, a white noise generator, a resonant multimode VCF, a seven waveform LFO and a VCA. The Uno Synths also offers an arpeggiator, a step sequencer and includes 100 presets, 80 of which can be overwritten by the user.
Two VCOs
The oscillators of the UNO Synth can be operated independently and can oscillate as sawtooth, triangle and square wave. In addition, there is pulse width modulation for the square wave.
Multimode-VCF
The filter of the UNO Synth is a 2-pole, resonant multimode filter, which provides lowpass, highpass and also bandpass. In addition, overdrive is available to the filter.
The free UNO Synth Editor is a plug-in and standalone application for MAC/PC and iOs that gives you access to all of UNO Synth's parameters. With the editor you can go beyond the front panel controls to access deeper programming settings such as full 4-stage ADSR envelopes for filter and volume, pulse width and waveform modulation of the oscillators, modulation wheel assignments, speed control and much more. The MAC/PC version is available for download from the manufacturer´s website. The iOS version can be found in the Apple App Store. The firmware of the UNO Synth must be updated beforehand if it is not yet in version 1.1.1 or higher.
