The MellotronM4000D Mini is the digital replica of the legendary M400 - hardly any other electronic instrument has such a unique and unmistakable sound as this classic from the late sixties. The M4000D Mini is a sample-based synthesizer. It is the smallest version of the Mellotron, a faithful replica of the Mellotron, a keyboard instrument that had one tape with samples per key. The M4000D Mini features a 24-bit audio engine with uncompressed sample data, providing 100 iconic Mellotron and Chamberlain sounds. Additional sounds can be loaded via cartridge. The Mellotron company, based in Los Angeles and Stockholm, has studied the great legend so meticulously and lovingly and brought it back to life with the help of the latest high-end digital technology.
