Bloom

is a fractal sequencer that can produce an infinite number of successively developing melodies with many musical characteristics. At its heart is a 32-step sequencer with two independent channels and an intuitive user interface. What makes Bloom so vivid are its fractal (fragmentary) algorithms that can mutate existing sequences or create completely new patterns. The basic sequence can be programmed manually or generated automatically with the mutation function. Once generated, the sequence can be extended with variations using the rotary controls, resulting in a generic sequence up to 256 steps long. In addition, ratchets and slew can be programmed per step. Quantizer and transposing functions complete the repertoire in a useful way. These unique sequences can be stored and recalled on eight memory locations.
