RME's MADIface XT II represents an impressive further development compared to its predecessor, the MADIface XT. The updated digital and analog circuitry achieves a significantly increased performance in both the analog and digital domain. Particularly noteworthy is the increased signal-to-noise ratio, which ensures clearer and lower-noise recordings. In addition, the THD value for AD conversion has been significantly reduced, resulting in even more precise and faithful sound reproduction.
The balanced line outputs are another major improvement: The maximum output level of the XLR line outputs has been increased from +15 dBu to an impressive +24 dBu. This enables even more powerful and dynamic signal transmission. The stereo headphone output of the MADIface XT II has also been optimized and now delivers a significantly higher output level of +19 dBu, while the output impedance has been reduced to 1 Ohm. These improvements result in a significant increase in performance and sound quality, which is particularly appreciated in demanding studio environments.
All outputs of the MADIface XT II have multiple switchable level options, allowing flexible adaptation to different recording and monitoring conditions. These extensive improvements make the MADIface XT II an indispensable tool that professional audio engineers and sound engineers will not want to do without.
