The new sound module delivers 190 drum and percussion sounds, 50 editable drumkits, new, powerful ambience effects and revolutionary SuperNATURAL Sounds, produced through behavior modeling technology. A large LCD display with intuitive control surface promises quick and uncomplicated operation. Two USB ports make it possible to playback audio files from flash memory devices as well connect to computers.
The drum pads of the TD-11KV kits are covered with mesh heads and stand out not only the silent speech mainly by the highly realistic drumming experience. The drum pads, consisting of two 6" Tom Pads, an 8" Floor Tom, and the 8" Snare Pad can be assigned with different sounds at the surfaces and at the rubberized edges. The kick pad also has a coat of fabric plastic and simulates a real clever kick drum. Even the cymbal pads can elicit different sounds by playing on the edge or on the clubface.
In the ride cymbal pad has even an extra trigger zone on its dome. The Cymbalpads can be easily stopped while playing like real cymbals via choke function. The rack has four main pillars and guarantees a firm grip and stability.
The rack of the TD-11KV is relatively small, but offers enough space to position the supplied components by L-suspension individually.The small size of the TD-11KV is perfect for any conditions and places, it is also just as easy to assemble as well as dismantled.

Roland TD-11KV E-DrumSet, After 3 weeks of use (1-2 hours daily), I have concluded on the following.
The TD-11KV is a definitely recommended buy at this price range. The mesh heads are a must (plus the bounce can be adjusted), the cymbals are great and realistic, the response to each hit is very accurate and reliable. The sound module has direct usb (I can play along with songs directly with 2 clicks), plenty of features for sound tuning (sensitivity, volume, response curve etc) plus its display screen is big enough and very user friendly. The variety of drums sounds offered is more than enough for me.
The feel when playing is very nice and enjoyable. In addition, it is as quiet as it gets (this was an important factor in deciding when I bought it as I live in an apartment) and also very important: the maximum volume in my headsets when playing is very satisfactory. Thus, when I play, I do not hear the natural sound produced from hitting the cymbals (which are the most loud in this case, but at the same time extremely quiet). You cannot avoid hearing part of the natural kick drum sound some times though, but this is not so negative since the sound produced is of the same nature.
The only negative I have found is that the CY-12 cymbal requires some force to be choked, more than that required for the CY-13.
For a beginner/intermediate player, this drum set is recommended because 1) you will enjoy it a lot and 2) I believe it can improve your drumming capabilities without the need for immediate upgrade (since it is already a very decent electronic drum set which offers a lot).
