The MV7i is a dynamic USB-C microphone with an integrated audio interface designed for professional content creation as well as for podcasts and music recording in the home studio. Thanks to the XLR/6.35 mm jack combo socket, two audio channels can be used simultaneously: the signal from the integrated microphone and the signal from an external microphone or instrument connected via the socket. The multi-track mode allows separate processing of microphone and input signals.
Advanced DSP technology and individual sound design
Innovative DSP functions such as Auto Level mode with SmartGate™, real-time denoiser and digital Popper Stopper™ guarantee clear, broadcast-quality recordings, regardless of the room acoustics. With the MOTIV Mix™ desktop app and the MOTIV mobile apps, the sound signature can be customized.
The MV7i's robust metal housing features an adjustable mount and a customizable LED touch panel for controlling the gain, monitoring and mute function. The microphone itself does not require phantom power, but offers integrated phantom power to supply external connected condenser microphones, while a latency-free 3.5 mm headphone output enables precise monitoring. With USB-C connectivity, the MV7i is compatible with Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices and MFi-certified for iPhone and iPad. This all-in-one device combines the advantages of a professional microphone with the possibilities of a modern audio interface to realize creative projects with minimal effort.
