The Sigma BMC-15E+ Acoustic 4-String Bass is a stage-ready acoustic bass that convinces with a first-class sound and an attractive price. The four-string instrument has a solid mahogany body with a solid top and a micarta fingerboard on the mahogany neck. Last but not least, the Sigma Guitars BMC-15E+ has a Fishman pickup system for amplified bass playing on stage.
The body of the Sigma BMC-15E+ is made entirely of mahogany and has a solid top, while the mahogany neck is made with a typical long scale scale. Accordingly, the acoustic bass delivers a particularly warm sound with lively dynamics that skilfully translates sonorous bass lines. Dot inlays offer the best orientation between the frets of the Micarta fingerboard.
In addition, the Sigma BMC-15E+ Acoustic 4-String Bass is equipped with a Fishman pickup system, which allows the increased use of the acoustic bass on stage or in the recording studio. Here the pickup system convinces with a clear and unadulterated reproduction of the bass sound. The 2-band tone control allows you to adjust the sound precisely, while the phase switch helps to suppress feedback. Last but not least, an integrated tuner is available for fast and precise tuning of the bass.

It's a high quality acoustic bass that features a Solid Mahogany body, Mahogany neck, fingerboard Micarta (like ebony-It's a Martin owned trade name) and bone nut & saddle. The Grover tuning machine are extremely stable.
The build quality of the bass is superb. No bad joints or proud frets.
The sound is powerful,pleasantly warm,deep and very balanced.
The amplifier sound is versatile and the Fishman Isys+ system, responds to adjust everything on the bass (played on Phil Jones Double Four BG-75)
The action is a bit high but the sound is beautiful, rich and deep with long sustain and a lot of harmonics.
The package included a tool to adjust the neck rod and a spare bridge.
