The Tama CL30VS Superstar Classic Neo Mod Set Mod Blue Duco is a compact, three piece vintage drum set. The special feature of the Neo Mod Set from the Tama Superstar Classic series are the compact shell sizes. The kit includes a 20"x10" bass drum, a 12"x7" tom and a 14"x9" floor tom as well as the MTH1000S tom holder. The lacquered maple drum shells are made of carefully selected wood and are equipped with high-quality shell hardware, such as Star Mount, Low Mass Lugs and triple-flanged hoops to create an all-round drum set that is more than convincing due to its low price. The thin drums produce a brute and assertive sound without compromises, also thanks to the fine 45° bearing edges and the Tama Power Craft II heads.
The Tama CL30 Drumkit's shells are constructed identically to the traditional Superstar Classic shells, the special feature is the format: The bass drum is only 20"x10" in size, the Tom 12"x7" and the Floor Tom 14"x9". This results in a short and direct sound character with concise bass and a lot of punch. In addition there is the MTH1000S tom holder, which is normally only part of the Starclassic series from Tama. Its compact format and impressive short sound make it the perfect drum kit for anyone who plays a lot of club gigs or plays street music. But also in the rehearsal room or on tour it makes a solid impression and offers professional sound and easy handling.
The Tom is mounted using the proven Tama Star Mount suspension, which guarantees full resonance. The suspension is mounted at four points on the top of the shell and has flexible wing nuts, thus ensuring ideal access during assembly and flexible alignment of the shell. The rubber-backed Low Mass Lugs and the classic Tama T-Badge have been adopted from the old Superstar series and make the Tama Superstar Classic Drumsets an optical highlight with retro charm even in their modern version.
The thin drum shells of the Tama Superstar Classic are made of carefully selected Maple wood. The bass drum is made of eight layers with a thickness of 7 mm, the toms of 6 layers with a total thickness of 5 mm. This results in a resonant, deep basic character with a lot of power and assertiveness. The 45° bearing edge in combination with Tama Power Craft II heads offers a high dynamic range.

Star mount system allows it to really sing. Super loud and full. Sounds super mic'd up and fits in tiny performance spaces, and tiny vehicles! Comes in a surprisingly small box with the toms ready assembled. Just bass drum heads and spurs to fit. Shell finish is really high quality and eye catching. A proper small kit! Love it!
