Microphone preamplifier from Tascam
With SERIES 8p Dyna, Tascam presents an outstanding 8-channel microphone preamplifier for first-class audio recordings, which can be integrated into a wide variety of setups thanks to its many connection options - whether at Studio or on stage. Benefit from the transparent, natural and very low-noise sound guaranteed by the eight excellent HIDA circuits (High Definition Instrumentation Architecture) and look forward to user-friendly, analog compressors in each channel to get a grip on volatile input signals.
In general, the 8p Dyna microphone Preamp with its combination sockets and 48 V phantom power is suitable for every conceivable signal: whether dynamic, condenser or ribbon microphone, guitars, basses or line signals - everything is possible here. There are also various connections such as the S/MUX Out, 25-pin Sub-D analog Out, Word Clock I/O, Word Terminated In/Out/Thru and 8 balanced line outs. This means that other devices such as the Tascam Series 102i and 208i or the US-20x20 can be easily expanded. Using the S/MUX outs mentioned above, all eight 8p Dyna channels can be output at up to 96 kHz (four channels at 176.4 kHz or 192 kHz).
But it's not just the high-end preamps and versatile outputs that make the Series 8p Dyna stand out. Thanks to the robust 1U housing, which fits perfectly into any 19" rack, this is a roadworthy device that delivers optimum results even in hectic and rough situations.
