High-quality 4-channel microphone and instrument preamplifier
The Warm Audio WA-412 4-Channel Discrete Mic Preamp & Instrument DI features a 20Hz-20kHz frequency range with 65dB of gain and LED metering. The WA-412 provides four channels of classic American console preamps in a 1U rackable design. Featuring fully discrete socketed 6-pin opamps and custom wound Altran USA input and output transformers, the WA-412 offers multiple channels of high quality tone in an affordable package. Output Trim has been added to every channel for precise control and creative gain structuring. Also included is a Tone switch (transformer input impedance) to each channel, which allows you to choose the warm and punchy classic console tone, or a more open & neutral sound.

I've added this to my existing wa-412 and various other api style and 1073 style pres. I've been really impressed with the tone sculpting possibilities and it's especially great for room capture and overheads. The build is generally good and sturdy. Performs way above its price point, but there is a lot crammed into a very small space so it feels slightly fiddly compared to single and duo pres... but it's definitely not a problem. Highly recommended!
