iZotope RX 8 Advanced (License)

The iZotope RX 8 Advanced (License) is the latest version of the Industry Standard Audio Repair Software, which adds useful features to the Audio Repair Tool that are increasingly demanded in modern Post Production. Efficient Signal Processing and Machine Learning make the Plug-In an industry standard within the Audio Industry.

RX 8 improves on the Tool-Set that already existed, whilst expanding the Software’s Functionality to address changes in modern Recording Processes.

Audio Tab Limit

In order to be able to work faster, the number of tabs in RX 8 was increased from 16 to 32. This allows more Audio Files to be loaded into the RX Audio Editor and processed more efficiently - perfect for fast Audio Editing jobs.

Horizontal Scrolling

iZotope has reacted to customer requests and implemented Horizontal Scrolling in the Spectogram Display. Whether you use a Mouse or the Trackpad, you can now scroll on the X-Axis and Analyse your Audio Signal even more effectively.

Loudness Control

Prepare your Recordings for final delivery and benefit from detailed Level Displays in the Loudness Control Module. Standard Loudness Pre-Sets can be loaded so you can adjust your Files in seconds. Keep an eye on your Levels with the Numerical and Historical Plot Read-Outs and scale the Module Display as required to suit your Workflow.

Spectral Recovery

Remote Meetings, Podcast Interviews and Video Conferencing are in vogue as never before, so the quality of Audio Transmission is increasingly coming into focus. Unfortunately, Transfer Protocols degrade this quality by Compression, removing important High Frequencies that are important for Signal Transparency. Spectral Recovery is used in these cases: the Tool restores important Frequencies above 4kHz, so that dialogues become clearer.

Wow & Flutter

Anyone who uses or stores Tapes and Vinyl over the years knows that the quality of the Audio Signals deteriorates over time. The result is often Pitch Fluctuations. Wow & Flutter was designed to counteract this phenomenon. Use Wow to eliminate longer Pitch Drifts and Flutter to counteract Fast, Short Pitch Variations.
