The Aguilar Tone Hammer is a sensational preamp pedal that brings the typical Aguilar sound with its unique combination of vintage warmth and modern transparency to the pedalboard. The internal working voltage of 18 Volts provides an immeasurably high headroom, which reproduces even the most dynamic playing style cleanly and transparently. To adjust the sound, the Aguilar Tone Hammer is equipped with a 3-band equalizer, whose semi-parametric midrange control allows precise adjustments to the sound character. In addition, the Adaptive Gain Shaping (AGS) tool spices up the sound with a good portion of overdrive when activated. The Aguilar Tone Hammer can be connected directly to a mixing console or audio interface via the balanced DI output, whose tap point is switchable before or after EQ and AGS.
