The Bugera 1960 Infinium Guitar Valve Amp Head is a hand-built all-valve amplifier driven by 4 x EL34s with an output transformer that’s now fully compatible with other output valves like 6L6 or 5881s.
Two channels come equipped with two input jacks each that be used in separate, parallel or cascading operation, bridging the tonal eras of the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. Other features include a no- compromise post- phase- inverter master volume that can be bypassed for direct signal path and a huge output transformer with specially nested windings for increased dynamic response and clarity.
In addition the on-board FX Loop (with true bypass) is ideal for use with external FX, pre-amps or modeling processors and the revolutionary Infnium Tube Life Multiplier technology extends the life of the amplifier’s power tubes by up to 20 times. It provides increased reliability and consistent tone over the complete lifespan of the amp’s valves so there’s no need for expensive matched tube sets. It also allows mix and match of any combination of compatible valve types and brands and also monitors performance of each power valve continuously and displays defective tubes allowing easy individual replacement.
