Eventide's H910
plug-in meticulously emulates the functions of the world's first digital multi-effect: the software works with modulatable delays and a pitch shifter that can be controlled via MIDI or manually, and can create all kinds of flanging, chorus, detuning, buffing and delay effects on this basis. These effects can all be modulated by an LFO or envelope. The behavior of the old harmonizer is reproduced exactly; digital glitches, clock drop-outs and the coloration caused by the analog feedback circuit have been integrated into the plug-in.
In addition, the H910 contains a virtual second unit of the actually monophonic harmonizer, so that stereo effects, cross-modulation between left and right, adjustable stereo width and stereo link are no problem. A classic application is, for example, pitch shifting in the opposite direction to left and right for a particularly wide and fat sound.
