The Fame 1252 Medium Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings are a pack of 6-String Acoustic Guitar Strings, .012 - .052.
These acoustic guitar strings from Fame are Bronze wound, giving them a unique tone and feel whilst playing. As they are made from durable materials, long life span is to be expected and resistance to wear, even after frequent and/or prolonged use.

Bought as a trial, I just put these on a Gibson J35. These are bright, bright strings...They've changed the EQ of the guitar completely ( not necessarily a bad thing to brighten up a dark sounding guitar - which mine isn't, but hey...) the bass is dramatically reduced, with added mid range and top. I'm an OCD string changer (new set per gig and a week max if not) because I crave that piano-like twang of crispy new strings. These will probably take week to bring them down to that type of sound... They stay in tune pretty well. I will say there were some loose windings on the ball-end of a couple of strings which gave me a good stabbing. The windings themselves are a bit thick on the 5th and 6th meaning the pins struggled to seat properly. The ball-ends seem small to me and not particularly tightly held which may be a problem if you have an older, worn bridge plate allowing them to slip up between the bridge-plate and pin. When all's said and done these are great stand-by strings to have around and great for set-ups - you no longer need to waste more expensive sets. However, they won't be replacing the D'addarios I've used for 30 odd years. So great value for money - for skint musicians, a real bonus. Anything has to better than dull, grimy tarnished strings. My biggest gripe is the packaging - a plastic envelope containing a plastic sachet containing six individual plastic sachets...Overkill on the plastic guys, think of the planet...
THese strings came in a bundle, so I thought that they shouldnt be anything good.
The price is cheapper than anything I can buy in my country.
So I tested them in another guitar and for my suprise they are good strings with good sound.
I acquire them in a bundle so, as always, I wasnt expecting much of it. But I offered them to a friend who, like me, is just starting to learn and turns out that the sound is good! These strings have a very nice quality price ratio!
