Bought this as a birthday present for my Son, who wants to take up drumming. This was a good way to dip a toe in the water without splashing out on a full kit. My son loves it, and uses it almost daily.
Sadly the unit arrived with a Euro style mains connector and no adapter for the UK, so it couldn't be used straight away. But this is more an issue with the service from Music Store than a failing with the unit - which is great!
I bought this unit from dv247.com, whom I rate far better than another German suppler I have used in the past.
These drums help me get a realistic feel when sequencing in Logic Pro. In particular rolls and fills. I find it easier to record the midi for the snare, hi-hats, cymbals and toms together, then do a second pass for the kick, pressing the pedal by hand. I am not a drummer but if you are on a budget with limited space for recording, these are ideal for your needs. The pedals are quite sensitive and so work better with socked or bare feet.
Bought as a gift for my pro drummer husband to practice and enjoy at home. He loves the product. And it’s much more compact and quieter than a full kit for home use too. Would recommend 100%
