The classic sound of the Early Fifties Tele with its unmistakable twang and growl is provided by two hand-wound Custom Shop '50/'51 Nocaster single coils, which were manufactured according to the classic recipe at the Custom Shop Facility in Corona, California. Both pickups are wired via the traditional '51 Modified Nocaster Wiring, which replaces the usual tone knob with a blend control and integrates the neck pickup smoothly into the circuit in switch position 1.
