Signature Short Scale E-Bass with Nitrocellulose Finish and Seymour Duncan Custom Split Coil Pickups
The Fender Justin Meldal-Johnson Road Worn Mustang Bass is based on the original 1967 Mustang of the versatile musician from Eugene, Oregon, who enjoys a high reputation as bassist of Nine Inch Nails and Beck and as producer of Paramore. Accordingly, the compact electric bass offers the typical short scale Mustang construction with shorter 30 inch scale length, alder body and screwed maple neck, which combines a butter-soft playability with a striking, soft and appealing sound. A Seymour Duncan Custom Mustang Split Coil pickup at the amplifier provides warm, yet defined bass sounds for strong bass lines between Motown and Rock. Last but not least, the Mustang bridge with string guidance through the body and classic open gear bass tuners complete the Fender JMJ Mustang bass.
The Fender Justin Meldal-Johnson Mustang Bass convinces with a classic vintage look and the distinctive sound of the Seymour Duncan Custom Split Coil pickup.

Great straight out of the box. The roadworns are some of the nicest basses Mexico are putting out, right up there with the quality and sometimes better finishing than the USA models. All the thump of a P bass in a tiny package. The tone pot does a lot more than your standard P.
