The Fender Player Series Lead II MN Neon Green recreates the charm of the early Lead models of the eighties within the Fender Player Series. Originally designed by Freddie Tavares, the double-cut design offers classic Fender feel with a slim maple neck in a modern C profile and modern 9.5" fretboard radius, while two Alnico 5 single coils from the Fender Player Series produce traditional single coil sounds with crystal clear treble at the bridge and warm and clear tones at the neck. Especially for fans of funk and reggae, the additional 2-Way Phase Switch offers the possibility to switch both single coils in switch position 2 either in phase for the full signal or out-of-phase for strikingly hollow and defined sounds. Last but not least, the Fender Player Lead II is completed by a straightforward hardware configuration in the form of a fixed 6-Saddle Hardtail Bridge and tuning-stable vintage-style tuners.
