Ibanez Signature GWB25TH-SWF SilverWaveBurst Flat at a glance
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of its partnership with renowned bassist Gary Willis, Ibanez is launching the new signature model Ibanez GWB25TH-SWF. This collaboration, which began over two decades ago and was honored five years ago with the 20th anniversary model, continues to be successful. The new model integrates fresh ideas - for example, the 3-piece maple neck has been reinforced with titanium inlays from KTS. Gary Willis, known for his contributions to the jazz and fusion genre, is reflected in the character of this 5-string Bass. A characteristic feature, the popular "finger ramp", is also present on this model. The instrument is characterized by a SilverBurst Flatfinish, which, in combination with the black and chrome-colored hardware from Gotoh, creates a unique look.
A"stacked pot" is attached to the body of the Bass. The upper part of this control is used to boost or cut the treble, while the lower part is responsible for boosting or cutting the bass. The volume control also has a dual function: it also serves as an EQ bypass switch. To deactivate the Equalizer (EQ), simply pull the volume control upwards.
