The JB Systems Multibeam Laser is an effect laser for mobile DJs, small discotheques and clubs. Altogether 4 laser units are installed in the Multibeam (2 x 150 mW red laser; 1 x 50 mW green laser; 1 x 500 mW blue) which bring it to a total power of 850mW. With the four independent laser beams, exciting, room-filling laser shows can be realized. In addition to DMX control, the Multibeam also offers various stand-alone operating modes:
Caution: The DPSS laser requires a warm-up phase of about 5-15 minutes to achieve a stable working temperature. During the heating process, the power and the beam are subject to large fluctuations, sometimes the green laser beam only appears after a few minutes. During the heating of the laser, the DPSS laser works more and more stable until it finally reaches the optimal temperature for operation. This is normal for all DPSS lasers and not a defect. The optimum ambient temperature is +/- 20 ° C to 35 ° C
Laser protection regulations:
Due to the strong focusing of the laser beam, the entire light energy is concentrated on a small area. If the human eye is hit by this beam, it can cause damage. In particular, there is a risk of eye injuries when looking into the direct beam. If the beam is deflected, which is almost always the case with the compact show laser systems due to the scanning unit, the effect and thus the danger of the beam is many times lower. Lasers or devices containing a laser are classified according to the accident prevention regulation Laser Radiation[BGV B2]. 99% of the compact show lasers currently available on the market and also all lasers offered by us belong to protection class 3a and 3b. These devices are therefore subject to approval. For safe operation at public events, a laser protection officer[radiation protection according to VBG 93 §6 (BGV-B2)]] must be appointed. For installations in public buildings (discotheques, multi-purpose halls, restaurants, etc.), the systems must be approved by the locally responsible TÜV or the employers' liability insurance association. The regulations for the operation of a showlaser system valid in Germany must be observed. Please contact your local employers' liability insurance association and the responsible TÜV company for more information.
