The Line 6 Variax Shuriken SR250 was developed in close collaboration with Line 6 Stevic MacKay, the guitarist of the Australian progressive Metal band Twelve Foot Ninja. While the electric guitar has a high playing comfort thanks to the ergonomic alder body and the comfortable maple neck, the elaborate Line 6 Variax electronics provide versatile sounds that set no limits to creativity.
The design of the Line 6 Variax Shuriken Stevic MacKay is the pen of Stevic MacKay and convinces with a high ergonomics. The alder body nestles against the player and thus assumes a particularly stable position, while the wide cut cutaways allow unhindered access to the high positions of the screwed maple neck. Thanks to the 25.5" long Standard scale (648 mm), the electric guitar also offers the familiar playing feel in Standard tuning and moderate drop tunings.

There is also the possibility to change the tuning of the electric guitar "on the fly". Using the Line 6 Workbench Software , the presets can be easily programmed on the computer.
